In this lesson
Round any given number to a stated number of decimal places or significant figures, correctly identifying which rule the instruction is asking for.
What it covers
- Rounding to a given number of decimal places
- Rounding to a given number of significant figures
- Rounding to the nearest 10, 100, 1000 or a given power of 10
- Counting significant figures correctly, including leading zeros (not counted) and figures before a decimal point
- Recognising when a value is already rounded to the required accuracy and must not be rounded again
