In this lesson
Divide a stated total into two or more parts in a given ratio by finding the value of one part first.
What it covers
- Find the value of one 'ratio part' by dividing the stated total by the sum of the ratio's parts
- Scale that one-part value up to find each named share, for two- or three-part ratios
- Attach each found quantity to the correct named person or category in the final answer
