In this lesson
Reflect a 2D shape accurately in a given vertical, horizontal, or (Higher/Extended) sloped mirror line by measuring each vertex's perpendicular distance to the line.
What it covers
- Reflecting a shape in a vertical mirror line x=a
- Reflecting a shape in a horizontal mirror line y=b
- Reflecting a shape in a sloped mirror line such as y=x or y=-x (Higher/Extended)
- Checking accuracy by confirming each vertex is the same perpendicular distance from the mirror line as its image, on the opposite side
