In this lesson
Draw, use and interpret nets of cubes, cuboids, prisms and pyramids, including using measurements taken from a net to calculate the solid's volume and surface area.
What it covers
- Drawing the net of a cube, cuboid, prism or pyramid
- Identifying which net folds into which solid, including spotting a net that does not fold correctly (missing or overlapping faces)
- Reading measurements straight off a net to compute surface area (sum the net's shapes)
- Reading measurements off a net to identify the base and height needed for volume
