In this lesson
Design a tally or frequency table from raw data, and complete a two-way table by using a given row or column total to find a missing cell, checking every row and column sums correctly.
What it covers
- Constructing a tally chart from a raw list of data items and converting tally marks into a frequency column
- Completing a two-way table where some cells are given directly and others must be found using a printed row or column total
- Checking a completed two-way table by verifying every row and every column sums to its given total, and correcting an arithmetic slip if it doesn't
