In this lesson
Draw an ordered stem-and-leaf diagram with a key from a raw list of data, and read values back off a given stem-and-leaf diagram.
What it covers
- Splitting each raw data value into a stem (leading digit(s)) and a leaf (final digit) consistently across a whole data set
- Ordering the leaves within each stem row from smallest to largest before finishing the diagram
- Writing a key that states exactly what one stem-leaf pair represents
- Reading a value, or a simple count of values in a range, directly off a completed stem-and-leaf diagram
